Get Involved in and around Las Vegas
Southern Nevada’s conservation community offers many ways to get involved—from restoring habitat and collecting scientific observations to educating the public, advocating for wildlife, and helping organizations with fundraising or communications. This directory brings together nonprofits and agencies working in and around Las Vegas so you can explore their work and find opportunities that fit your interests, skills, and available time.
Use the links below to learn what each organization does and how you might contribute. Some offer single volunteer events, while others have recurring roles that require an application, training, or a longer commitment. Before signing up, look for the duties, time expectations, location, physical demands, and support provided. An organization’s mission may interest you, but finding a role that fits your life will help you stay involved.
You don’t need to be an expert to take the first step. Introduce yourself, share what interests you and how much time you can realistically give, and ask where help is needed. Starting with one event can help you meet the people, experience the work, and decide whether you’d like to contribute more regularly. Your existing skills may be useful in ways you haven’t yet considered.
